I’ve been using this in conjunction with DHEA, Shilajit, and Tongkat Ali, and I’ve seen solid results.

Usually Double Wood provides excellent products but in my opinion this is not one of them. Make sure to do your research. This is not pure HMB and is calcium derived which can be misleading. Clear muscle by muscle tech is more expensive but better value and more effective due to the ingredients and derivatives. Double wood does well with nootropics and choline but it’s fitness supplement line is disappointing.

I was looking for something to help my aging mother, and I found HMB. I decided to try it myself. It was almost 2 years ago. I was surprised to see the result so fast; I gained 1/3 of an inch in my upper arm muscles in one week. (At that time I was 63).
I usually don’t write reviews, but I’m writing this positive review after reading negative comments on Calcium form of HMB. (This product is CA form).
There are two kinds of HMB – The calcium salt (CA) and free acid form (FA). Recently FA form of HMB is touted to have more bioavailability, but be aware, not enough human studies have been done to justify this. CA form of HMB has a long history and many many studies have done to prove the efficacy of it for both athletes and elderly. AND HMB (CA) has many more positive and impressive customer reviews.
After stopping HMB, I’ve kept losing my muscles even after increasing my exercise, so I will start it again. I am interested in trying the powder form, so I may not start this brand at this point, but may come back to it later. Since I had a good experience, I thought I should write my positive review. Thanks for developing a fine product!
