I ordered this because I knew that I was going to start increasing my efforts in the gym several months after a rotator cuff surgery. It arrived just as I started moving from bands and machines etc to empty bars and small dumbbells and the like.
I have to say that I really feel the prime effect of taking this is to reduce the soreness that comes with using muscles in ways they haven’t been used in some time. Some folks call it DOMS. I can’t say for certain that it definitely helped me build any more muscle then I would have from the exercise alone, however several people have commented that I’m looking leaner and one person even called me buff, quite a surprise.
ONE CAVEAT: you want to make sure you are well hydrated and stay hydrated using this product. If you do, everything I’ve seen says it’s safe to use. If you don’t, you risk developing a kidney stone, so make sure you stay hydrated at all times (and if I am correct, this applies to all forms of creatine, not just the Legion brand)
The flavor is good – really as good as I could expect from a product the touts the use of natural flavorings as opposed to artificial ones. I generally mix it with at least 14 oz of water in order to make sure that it mixes in quickly without having to shake it excessively.
It seems like a pretty good deal, though I would rather have been able to buy the larger bottle.
I have really liked the products I have bought from Legion Athletics so far. I have not checked it out yet, but today in the podcast, Mike Matthews said every product has the quality/lab report for the most recent batch on its page. Definitely with a look, heading there later tonight.

Product tastes great, however, the package came damaged. It was sealed with the plastic but lid wasn’t on all the way and lost powder. At least a scoops worth was lost in the box & opening the product.
