If a deficit of 250 calories a day will help you lose weight, then won’t losing 1,000 calories per day give 4 times better results?

The truth is, severe calorie deficits screw up your physiology. That’s why almost all low-cal dieters regain the lost pounds when they stop the program… and most often gain some more.
